first full moon

it's the first full moon for 2007. thought i'd do a ritual thingy today. a chance to practice mindfulness. the intention, having the right thought and action. i was in-joy (enjoy?) while going through the process. the energy in motion is uplifting.

my regular flower stall near an indian temple sold the last lotus stalk moments before i arrived. i went hunting for lotus all over subang and couldn't find any, so i drove to brickfields where rows of indian shops selling flowers are, with hope there'll be lotus for sale. after almost 6 shops i finally found the lotus. ahh... what joy!

on the way home i dropped by the temple and did a prayer, lit a candle for new year wishes. got home with the flowers and had a flower bath of mixed peeled lotus petals, some other flowers and fresh cut lemon to wash away all negative energies and bad luck. intentions bring about energy that sends out to the universe and you'll never know what magic will transpire with your simple act of prayers or rituals. not just for yourself but it can be done for others to.

it was fun. i used to do this when i was a kid with mom fussing about. now i'm starting it again, and i think i'll continue doing it. it'll be among other things i wanna do in 2007. :)
