stillness speaks - 4

bukit gasing, photo by alison, canon digital a20

went to bukit gasing (gasing hill) yesterday. all by myself, yes i did. gene had a photo shoot in sepang, that’s why. what an adventure! full of funny drama! first i took a wrong turn and ended up at a tower, on another part of the hill. and when i made it there, i helped a couple pushed their car, which apparently had a dead battery. stepping into the path, i was greeted by a male monkey, aggressive little fella, gave me a fright as he look as if he wanted to jump on me. i avoided eye contact and qucikly moved along. it was so good to be back with nature. i took a path that lead up to a lookout. got a fair view of the town below. while i was still on the lookout, along came an old man below, must be over 60 i think, i guess he didn’t realize i was on the lookout, he stopped, turned facing a tree and pee!!! the moment i knew what he wanted to do, i quickly turned away! *blush* ayooo!! men! *roll eyes* tsk! tsk! tsk!

you need nature as your teacher to help you reconnect with being. But not only do you need nature, it also needs you.

you are not separate from nature. we are all part of the One of Life that manifest itself in countless forms throughout the universe, forms that are all completely interconnected. when you recognize the sacredness, the beauty, the incredible stillness and dignity in which a flower or a tree exist, you add something to the flower or the tree. through your recognition, your awareness, nature too comes to know itself. it comes to know its own beauty and sacredness through you!
