last weekend, we joined tvcm (toyota vios club malaysia) for a charity drive. visited two orphanages (my heart still feel for them as i write this, and find it somewhat heavy to post the photos). seeing all their faces, i stop short not knowing what i should be feeling, sad? because these children, young and innocent, they so deserve to have better than this. happy? because i was able to share some love with them.

today, i feel compelled to share this journal entry. good merits and joy are to be shared so that we will be able to remind each other, what we can do to make this earth home a better place to live, with all people, all beings, a home filled with love and kindness.

just one thought
spoken words
then action

we have so much LOVE to share, so much we CAN share.

  1. What beautiful children! Thank you for sharing their lovely faces and your gracious sentiment.

  2. Sharing your time with orphans is so hard. "They so deserve to have better than this," I couldn't agree with you more. Thank you for posting this.

I am a little excited at what I found on your blog. I saw that your husband is Levin, which I don't know is his real name, but That's what I call him. He has LIFE IN STILL MODE, I visit his blog all the time and now find you are connected. I'm so happy to meet you. You both take wonderful pictures, his cars and sports shots are my favorite. Your insights and care for the world is wonderful.

  3. 2 hrs every week with children like these feels like just seconds...but for them, the smiles n touches means d world 2 them ;p

  4. amber: they are beautiful!

    sandy: glad you like it.
lol, ya... levin is gene, gene is levin, levin is his nickname. it's fun and great that we share the same interest. erm... he's the pro, i'm just learning. i'm happy to share and even happeir that you're enjoying my little posts here, you're most welcome to my humble blog space.

miror: uh huh, can't believe what they've gone thru in the past, only their little hearts will know and carry throughout their lives. one wish one could've done more, but alas, there's only that much one can do.
