had a free and easy evening, and so we hit the streets, narrow streets and lots of bicycles, all sorts of innovative modified bicycles, the one you see on top with a box... oh, they put flowers, dogs, kids, anything! others are painted with cool colours.

red light district, umm... or rather part of what's there. prostitution is legal here. latest news has it that the government is trying to clean up the place.

and smoking cannabis and all those 'leaves' are legal here too, there are lotsa shops like these, and also the 'coffee shops' where you can have a taste of it.

just a beautiful scene. this was taken about 8:30pm, it was still bright. gene and i walked till the sun sets, not wasting the natural light to shoot whatever we can :) it only starts to get dark by 9:30pm, by the time we got back to the hotel, we were exhausted! a good walk around the city.
Alison, these pictures are a wonderful tour of what your honeymoon was like. The flowers were so beautiful!

Oh I remember an ex-boss of mine was busy surveying for the lowest price of Viagra in town before he went off for a business trip in Amsterdam 5 years back. Now I know why..
