gratitude friday:
i am thankful for today

i started practicing gratitude/healing friday not too long ago, made an agreement with my friend, anna that we would, for every friday, email each other and tell one another things that we are grateful for that week. and send love to our friends and family who are needing some good vibes for healing, ourselves included. we get hurt too after a week being out in the sometimes not so friendly world. we too need some healing and love :)

things i am grateful for this week, which i choose to be thankful of today, especially.

thank you for a day all for 'me'
thank you for a quiet retreat, even only for a day
thank you for a restful day
thank you for healthy food
thank you for good books
thank you for our comfy couch
thank you for the beautiful weather out there
thank you for kiki by my side
thank you for this cozy home
thank you my trusty camera
thank you thank you thank you

what are you grateful for today?

  1. prism: the door is wide open, come on in! :)

  2. I'm so grateful for having a strong love to hold on for so long..

  3. Hi Alison, a thankful heart is not only the greatest virtue, but the parent of all virtues.

Have a pleasant weekend and keep well. Best regards, Lee.

  4. hliza: yay to that! :)

uncle lee: heart is full when heart is thankful. you have good week ahead uncle lee.

  5. Alison - I love your gratitude Friday. I do it daily though maybe because I need daily reminders (Nic says my brain is like a kambing's so I maybe that is why I need constant reminder). I write down 5 things I am grateful for at the end of each day in my journal. I also have an inspiration book where I jot down inspiring quotes, words of wisdom, amazing memos to self and stories to inspire me by.

Thank you for your comment.
