macaroni & cheese++
my style. with added ingredients and toppings.
* 1 1/2 cup macaroni
* 2 cups milk
* 3/4 cup cheddar cheese (more if you wish)
* vegetables - broccoli, cauliflower and carrot cut to bite sized
* 1/2 can tuna (in water)- drained
* 2 tsp butter
* 2 tsp flour
* salt & pepper
* 1 tomato, sliced
* bread crumbs
boil veggies in water, scoop and drained when still crunchy and not too soft, use water to prepare macaroni as in direction from package. drained well. in another saucepan melt butter over medium heat, add flour and stir. pour in milk until thickened and creamy. seasoned with salt and pepper. add cheese and stir till cheese melt. add macaroni, veggies and tuna and stir. pour mixture into casserole dish. placed sliced tomato on top. bake at 180C (350F) for 20 minutes. before serving sprinkle bread crumbs and oregano.
serves 3 - 4 person.
if you are lactose intolerance like me, you can substitute with lactose free milk and cheese.
