hello 2013

day two of 2013
sunny morning, which later poured buckets load in the afternoon.

what's left in my nearly bare garden.

going through old letters, time to let them go. pen pals from america, greece and finland when i was growing up. we talked about braces to boys, 80's music stars to silly doodles. lost contact for many years till i found them again in facebook recently. the marvels of social media.

had lunch with a dear friend who's back from germany.

and played with her adorable son, adam.

  2. Hi Alison,
I hope you had a great New year. I know you must miss your garden. I miss mine. I had so many veggies and berries. I already have cabin fever.
I'm sure you had a great time at lunch with your friend.
    Have a great day!

  3. Hi Alison, I love the letters! I have saved all of mine as well. I ran acorss them a few years ago and tried to part with them, but wasn't able to let go of a lot of them. They just feel so personal and provide so many details from a passing era of my life... Best wishes for a happy and healthy 2013!!
