Happy surprise

I am feeling much better now and so glad that I'm good to go for the village market tomorrow.
A happy surprise! Gene so kindly bought me a sewing machine! I do not know how to sew anything except for straight lines, which isn't very straight at all, haha! Maybe I'll enrol myself in a sewing class? But oh, I have so many fun ideas already swirling in my head. I've already given it a run and oh, I am so loving my new sewing machine!

I listed a journal each in my Etsy and Felt shop. Didn't get to do much this week as I was resting most of the time. Having had major brain fog.

Kiki really loves to hang out in the garden, especially when the sun is out. Happy to say that I've reached day 50 of 100 Days of Kiki, I've passed the half way mark. Makes me realise how fast time is passing.

I'm learning to take things easy and not stress too much about my little business. All I can do is show up and do the very best that I can and let things unfold naturally. Wherever this takes me, it is good. I trust that I will be where I need to be.

Happy weekend!

  1. Cool! Love the cute sewing machine! I have one that I got for high school graduation a million years ago and it still works. I have thought about up-dating, but I'm so familiar with it and I've heard that "they don't make them like they used to" (and actually I don't use it that much) so it stays with me!
Good thoughts about "not stressing too much" - definitely the best approach!
