It was Saturday and we went to the waterfront and got to marvel at a fleet of spectacular tall ships in Auckland's Tall Ships Festival. They were beautiful ships indeed.
Lucky you, they're a wonderful sight. I've seen tall-ships twice many years ago, in the Pool of London and Falmouth Harbour. I've always wanted to see one under full sail on the high seas ever since I did a jig-saw showing one when I was a child. Flighty xx
This is our very first time seeing REAL tall ships, no words how amazing those ships were with all the ropes and riggs and all, we didn't go up to get a closer look though I had wanted too, the que was too long! :) We got to see some sailing yesterday at the bay but they were too far to get good photos.
Awesome! We get them here too from time to time. So beautiful. You seem to be settling in.... you have made it through the winter and now can look forward to spring and summer in your new home!
