Birth of A Journal - Boundtiful

I made a journal out of the leaf stamps and I am very pleased with the result. I love the simplicity of this book. Here're photos of how this journal was made.
I upcycled one of my old clothes that I've outgrown and used that as the cover.


Neatly wrapped.


Next, cutting and folding papers.


Bind the covers and the pages (signatures) together using coptic binding.


The finished journal. I added a tie wrap closure with a leaf charm.

This journal also reminds me of autumn, that's what we're heading here at the southern part of the globe. Some trees are already showing the signs of the changing season, which is lovely. I hope to catch up on making more journals as I've been side tracked to sewing instead. New journals to be listed in Etsy shop soon.
