It's pretty much still a mess at the new house, plus the garden too. A couple of weeks ago I did some gardening and trimmed some of the roses that have grown a bit wild and to my delight I saw this a couple of days ago. New baby leaves!

They are thriving!

Pulled this one out from a corner. What can I do with this? Plant some herbs perhaps? That fence sure needs some scrubbing and new paint. It'll have to wait till spring/summer I suppose.

I made these journals for a mom and daughter. Mom requested a large A4 journal for keeping her recipes and favourite things. While the little one is going to her daughter which she will bring with her to Cambodia, volunteering in an orphanage there. I love knowing where my journals are going and how they are being used. This is such an inspiring story!

Winter has arrived and I am keeping warm indoors. Hope to make some journals too to fill up my Etsy shop which is low in products now. I will still be at Titirangi Village Market during the winter months so come and say hi if you're in town.

Next Market
29 June (Sunday) - Titirangi Village Market, 10am - 2pm.

  1. I'm sure that the garden will look really lovely come summertime. I like the matching journals, and story. Flighty xx

    1. So much work to be done both inside and outside of our new home, but we'll do it slowly and enjoy doing up and make it a happy home. No hurry, right? :)

I love when customers tell me the stories about the journals. xx
