Journal, cards, bookbinding workshop and gardening

I didn't do much creating last week and I probably won't be this week either. But I did however list a few new items in my Etsy shop.
This new journal is in my Etsy shop. A tie dye journal with coptic binding.

I'm also starting to list some of my notecards too. This is a lotus notecard. Hand stamped using a woodblock.

A must have tie dye notecard in the shop.

This weekend I'll be having a bookbinding workshop at East West Gallery. It will be a simple bookbinding that is easy to make. Suitable for children and adults too. It will be fun! :)

Lets see what's new in the garden...

Yes, a new raised bed. Gene made this, a whole lot cheaper than buying the kit set. I haven't decided what to plant yet. We'll see.

Meanwhile, in the first bed, where the spinach and spring onion have been eaten and done with, I planted some beet root in its place, they were given to me by Christine who sowed them from seeds.

Today we had spring onion and capsicum for dinner.

It has been a while since I posted a photo of Kiki.

Here she is with her majestic white fur this morning.

Have a good week ahead!

  2. Lovely pics! Ideas for your new raised bed: carrots, lettuces, leeks, celery, spinach are just a few ;-) Glad to see the beetroots now transplanted and loving it. Good luck with the workshop this Sunday and have fun! - Christine

    2. I don't know about your garden soil, but mine desperately needs rain! It's too hard to plant of sow until we get decent showers. So as you say it's reading time in the meantime, ha ha!
