I'm back and shops reopen

It was a good holiday, wonderful to meet family and friends again, and it makes me feel more grateful for having them in my life. Catching up in person is definitely better than chatting online or through whatssapp. That said, I am also happy to retreat back into my little caccoon here in New Zealand.

Both my Etsy and Felt shops are now reopen. Still lots to tidy up in there, relist some expired items and to make more books and fill up the shops. Due time.

After a month being away, I came home to a very tired looking garden.
The zucchinis are composting right there on the patch.

Parsley has gone to seed.

So has the coriander.

The spiders have found use in them :)

The pot marigold has also self seeded. The basil is looking better, will be making pesto with those soon.

Strawberries are due for replanting too. I diverted all the runners back into their own pots, just a quick solution before I left for the holidays.

Looks like it is going to be busy for a couple of weekends in the garden. I am looking forward to it.

Have a lovely weekend!

  1. Good to see that you enjoyed your holiday. It looks you've plenty to do in the garden.

Thanks, and you too. Flighty xx

    1. My holiday was good, thank you. There's still plenty to do in the garden, the weather is getting rather wet to work though. I'll just do what I can when I can.
