I can't stop making books

Here're the latest journals that I have listed on Etsy.

A grey scandinavian flower art journal with lace wrap around closure. A fabric that I have been keeping for some time now that finally made into a book.

This is one of my favourite, The fabric was gifted to me by a friend and it has this swashes of colours like a paint brush art. Journal can be found here.

A dainty little fabric journal. I bought this fabric from the op-shop (thrift store). It was a curtain, the little one that is usually hung above the kitchen window, not sure what you call those. I am trying to upcycle whenever I can, so will go op-shopping for fabric and see if I'm lucky to get pretty ones to make into books.

I did a little side project, but cannot keep away from making books! I made a little fabric needle book. I have been wanting to make this for a long time but didn't get around to making one until now. It is made from materials from my fabric stash of course.

It's a bit wonky, The pocket looks like it is running away, but I do like it as it keeps my needles safe in one place and I can bring it along for workshops.

It has a shibori fabric cover, a "rejected" fabric that did not become a journal, small pieces of fabric that is perfect for little projects like this.

Last weekend's road trip was to Omeru Reserve at Kaukapakapa. A short track but it was a good tramp with streams and waterfalls.

This is a little one.

Near the waterfall, mushrooms popping up everywhere, it was magical! You could almost see and imagine fairies playing and jumping over them.

The highlight was this waterfall. I don't know why but I just love waterfalls. We have been waterfall hunting for many years now and just don't get tire of it.

Anyways. have a good Easter weekend!
