More shibori print journals

Now that I've completed the two worshops, it's back to my little blog space. It has been a rather busy month, and it is a good thing, I think.

These two small shibori journals recently listed in my Etsy shop here and here.

Dyed more fabric, some will not be made into books though as I wasn't quite happy with the results.

I did not take many photos of the Chidlren's Bookmaking Workshop as it was rather chaotic, having ten little people age three up to eleven, I guess you can imagine :) The Japanese Bookbinding Workshop went well and we all had fun.

These are the books made by the participants, We did four hole japanese binding and hemp leaf binding, but it's not very visible from the photo above.

It is end of the month and I'm gathering fabric for next month's binding and journal making. Among the covers will be this, a Holly Roach's screen printing. I love this so much and I've been keeping this print till now.

Not much is happening in the garden, I have not been out in the garden much, hopefully soon. I've got some garlic bulbs still sitting on the kitchen counter that need to go in the ground.

Have a wonderful week ahead!
