I was making this journal without realising there was an empty space in the middle while cutting the fabric, usually I would align the flowers in the middle of the book when it is closed. So I repaired the mistake by adding little findings from my trinket box, a leftover tiny pieces of lace, some buttons and that's it, I have fallen in love with it and might keep this for myself.
Love the reminder as well - "make every moment count."
I've been writing more this year. It is good to have that regular practice again.
I am already half way through my journal and it is a good excuse to keep the above journal so I can continue when I finish with this one.
A friend gave me this dahlia, picked from her garden. It is just gorgeous! Adds a happy cheer in the studio.
Have a lovely weekend!
Nice post and pictures. Lovely dahlia. xx
