i think we are going through another huge energy wave. pouring and hitting hard to our core, and uprooting what needs to be dealt with right now.

for me i am feeling totally weak, jelly weak, i usually do when huge energy wave comes through me. i can do nothing but rest, sleep through it and let it pass. it is just another big download.

whatever issues that you may have it is going to come up and you have to deal with it. and remember you have a choice - to respond it with fear or with love, your call.

the heart centre or heart chakra is active, so is the neck and throat area. and anywhere along the spine, back area. they may feel some kind of pressure, pain or achey. just rest and know that you are ok.

anger, sadness, doubt and many other emotions is surfacing. remember, they are not who you are, they are just emotions passing through, clearing and cleansing your being. be still. be aware. and know that you will get through this. all shall come to pass.

and oh! my all time favourite, drink lots of water! lots! it is cleansing and healing. new information is coming in through water. why am i saying this? well, during this time is also when i get extra thirsty, and i need to drink lots ;)

and if you are not feeling anything at all. that's totally fine. just another day.

saw this status note in facebook one of my friends posted and i love it, just have to post it here, yes, including the exclamation mark :)

it has been lightning, thunder, rain, lightning, thunder and rain all week.
year end monsoon season. good time to hibernate and do art work?

in the process of making more jewellery, researching etsy (should i shouldn't i?) and learning the "how to" of this and that. does anyone know how to start an internet business or know a good place to learn the a-z? i'd appreciate the help.

this is going to be a just for fun project. keep reminding myself, it's all play, no expectation. i am still learning different jewellery making techniques, they all look so fun. but i still like simple jewellery pieces, i guess they kind of reflect who i am. i will post some new necklaces up for sale soon.

thank you all so much for your kind comments in this blog, it really means a lot to me that you take the time to drop by. a motivation for me to carry on, even though i have no idea where this is taking me. thank you for your kindness and friendship.

i got distracted from playing with the beads to another project, this is it. gene found these under a tree where people here usually discard unwanted stuff, i guess someone in the neighbourhood was moving out and didn't want to carry with them "old" stuff. call me a trash collector if you want, but guys, these are in perfect solid stable condition! just need some loving and cleaning. we took them home and i went straight to work, giving them a good clean wash and scrub. they were dirty and greasy before, this picture was taken after the wash as i left them to dry.

then giving them a new coat of paint, to cover some burnt marks, ink and pen scribbles on the surface of the table.

the chair got a new do too.

next, some make up on the chair, did fun stenciling of a red tulip

tadahh!! well, it's not all that perfect if you look up close, but hey, it's art!

and they sit next to my desk, my "new" artstation for my beading and other art work, separate from my desk. an artstation that will be messy and it's ok to be messy table. isn't that wonderful? i get a free (well, i spent rm18 on paint) table and chair to play and create.

that's our studio, it's nothing close to any artists' studio like this or this, but i am happy with our little nook. imagining and visualising that i could create more fun to and in it everyday.

i got my first order to make 2 sets of jewelry for anna's sister's birthday. the order was to make a set of necklace and earrings for casual wear, going to church or outings and another set for work, which is a little more formal. i saw this starfish crystals and just couldn't take my eyes off them, they are so pretty! so i made this simple and sweet perfect for church and happy girly hour fun necklace and earrings. i am so in love with this starfish that i am making myself a set too :)

louis hay's book "you can heal your life" has been an important part of my life during a time when i was having depression, health challenges and on a healing journey years ago. her book has helped me stay afloat and helped made changes on how i see myself and the world. thus i began my journal/blog entry with self uplifting affirmations to keep me going. up until this day i still go back to louis's book for that reminder, little affirmations, love and strength that it has given me.

i highly recommend for you to watch this great video based on the title of the book. and if you can, please watch from the beginning to the end. it is healing. i still get insights and "aha" moments watching it. love it. it's on youtube so it is a 10 part series (approximately 10 minutes each). i am posting the first part, you can click from youtube for the rest of the show.

i think i'll continue posting the affirmation again.

ok, so i am no pablo picasso, but i have always loved art and craft since i was young, yeah, the same old story, along the way, i lost it too, to what adult called 'life'. well i am re-claiming my 'life' back, my childhood, my passion, my life in the art world, in our little studio! yes, that's what i have been busy with lately. making jewelry, earrings for a start. it's fun, it's therapeutic and it's meditative. i love. and maybe i could make a sale or two? who knows.

my life in the working world as a freelance agent has not been a smooth one, and yes, bills need to be paid. maybe this will earn me some income? i don't know. one must try to find out, yes? in the mean time, christmas presents are hand made jewelry by me this year, with a sprinkle of love and a zap on the jewelry to add that extra energy of magic! just what one needs in this changing times.

we've moved.
well not house, but rooms. our once master bedroom is now our home office or studio. i've always wanted a studio (so i am calling it our studio :D) and gene has always wanted bigger space. it was back breaking for a couple of evenings to dismantle the bed and tables and what nots, carrying stuff up and down the stairs. the odd part is that our wardrobe is still upstairs, in the studio, as it is too big to move it to the bedroom downstairs.

it's so much brighter than the room downstairs, which is good to work in.

kiki has got her own spot too, a box for her in a corner next to my table. but she usually sleeps on the rocking chair next to her box. sleeping is her full time job!

looking forward to this weekend as i'll be going out with kylie for some girly shopping. i'm on with a new project. we both are. a fun one. can't wait.

when you're feeling like the universe is against you
and you get to that point of "i've had enough, i give up!"
actually, what you're really saying is "there's been a change of plans, time for something new."
or change your perception on the very thing that you are doing.

the universe (big "u") has its rhythm, it knows exactly what it is doing, even though at times it may seems absurd, painful, doubtful and scary, it is somehow telling us there's a grander plan taking place. it'll guide you to your passion and your joy if you are open to it's abundant flow of goodness through the experiences (pleasant and unpleasant) it brings. our job is not to resist, but to embrace it with open arms and heart, dance with it and enjoy every beat, every step and every sway with presence. every experience that you encounter is an opportunity to shift your thoughts and consciousness, bringing a new wave of alertness and awareness to your being. the choices you make will bring you to where you need to be, to learn, un-learn and re-learn. that's spiritual evolution.

i have been doing energy readings in the pass, and i had been wanting to start a more structured online readings and healings, then things changed, they always do. after spending weeks and days and hours of planning, suddenly with one big whoosh! it's all gone, i don't feel like doing it anymore, and i let it go. that's why it has been very quiet on the topic. it's time to move on.

i've been focusing inwards, following the flow, i've been de-cluttering, online and offline, making everything much more simpler. living in the present as much as the awareness allow me. i'm not quite sure whether i'll continue with the energy reading or maybe start something new. right now, there's really no fixed agenda or plan, i'm living quite simply by the moment, doing things i like to do, trying and experiencing different things. basking in the nowness.

i am blessed and i am deeply thankful for the love and support that gene is showering me with. the ups and downs are still there, but just knowing that "all this shall come to pass" and having faith and trust that all is well helps keep me centered, because truly, deep down in the core of this being there is this unshaken faith that all is really ok.

ruins of the tin mining processing building, there were some parts of machines left to rust on the dirt road. we visited a museum close to this ruins.

this was taken from the crystal house. a retired man who worked in the mining caves until it was closed in 1983 found crystals in the caves during his working days, kept and displayed them in his home, like a museum of sort. we had to pay a small fee to have a look at his collection. this cave was also part of the display.

no visits to kuantan is complete without a stop at the teluk cempedak beach. it was a hot afternoon and the sand was too hot to walk barefooted. we didn't stay long, but it felt good to be at the beach, the salty and sticky wind and the big blue sea and sky! mmm...... :)
