all is well in kiki land. no more fancy hats.
a happy cat is a healthy cat. we spend some time playing with kiki everyday which involves a brush, a cardboard among other homemade toys, sometimes playing hide and seek behind the door or staircase, jumping at each other.

also, lots of photo sessions when she's looking innocent and cute.

energy update: fuyuh! (manglish version of "wow"!) what a week it has been! the solar storm on monday did quite an upheaval! i was down with head ache, feeling nausea and tired, the rest of the week was spent napping in the afternoon. many people experience different symptoms which includes physical, mental and emotional discomfort. relationships and communication issues. the big whoosh of energy turned some upside down inside out. it is also helping some make a clear and distinct decisions on certain things. while many others may also not feel a thing. all is good.

big move update: we've received an email from the nz immigration case officer in shanghai, requiring us to send more documents. as our consultant points out it is a pedantic request, we will have to play their game. oh well, i will just have to look at a different perspective, that big u is preparing us for the right timing for our big move. we have been in the last couple of days preparing the documents and will be sending them out soon. and more waiting.

monsoon has passed. we're having super hot weather right now. i've been busy catching up with friends, spending some time with my parents, and right now major spring cleaning going on at home. it's day 4 with more stuff to clean, wash (the hot weather helps with the drying of my curtains), de-clutter and re-organised. feels good to have fresh energy at home.

started the new year with learning something new. hand stitched book. a small intimate class taught by evelin of angelicquirk at her home. i love the one i made below. i enjoyed the class and looking forward to making more books. my very own hand made journals! love!!

energy update: the full moon energy is very powerful! it is here to help release all that no longer serves us. we only need to release and let go. do not resist. let the energy flow through and do it's thing. some common symptoms are body ache, back ache, shoulder and neck, parts of the head, flu like symptoms. all shall come to pass. do deep breathing and drink lots of water. i would suggest to have some quiet time about 10 minutes to just sit and watch your breath, mindfully relax every part of your body. do intention to release old wounds, old thought patterns, old beliefs, this life and past lives, either conscious or unconscious ones. gently let them go. thank them for they have served their purpose. now it is time to move forward. a new and better life story awaits.

big move update: we received an email from our newly appointed case officer from immigration nz shanghai, china office. yay! well, the email was just to inform us that she was assigned as our case officer and that she'll be going through our application. after many months of quiet, any little update is a happy update!

word of the year 2012 and miracles

my heart is bursting with gratitude right now and tears are flowing down my cheeks as i write this. what a start of 2012! a wonderful miracle!

i don't know where to begin as it has many layers and timelines. i'll do my best.

pass few weeks i have had the sudden urge to go for a meditation retreat. i texted a friend yesterday to ask if there're any retreats happening in january, she texted back saying there's one going on in KKB (kuala kubu baru), i said i can't go right now. she texted me again this morning inviting to join her for a day of retreat at the same place, again i declined as i have made plans for the day.

ok. hold on to that part of the story and i will continue to join with this part later.

i have been feeling and thinking my word of the year 2012 for weeks and have been toying between "blessings" and "love". but it was more towards "blessings". and then today, 1 january 2012 as i was watering my plants and mulling over "stuff" and unresolved "issues", i had the moment. the moment where i made a resolute intention that i need to "let go" of the "issue" THIS year and the word "transcendence" just pop into my head.

"transcendence" is my word of the year 2012.

i wish to "let go" of this "issue" that i have been holding on for a while now. i wish to transcend all my limiting thoughts and belief. i will have to go through it and i want to come out on the other side clean, unburdened by it any longer. i have to learn to let go of all judgement, because it has caused so much unpleasantness. i know it is not my place to judge but habits do die hard, but not impossible. i keep telling myself no matter how long it takes to change this "distorted perception" of mine, i must do it.

there are many layers to the transcendence too, as i wish to transcend this "human" consciousness and just go beyond. enlightenment has always been another one of my aspiration. and what not this year being the end of the 26,000 planetary and galactic cycle and a major shift is underway, the energy is building up, it is (in my feeling) possible to transcend beyond this human ego. that we have held for so long. and i am tired and weary. i wish to end the cycle. this life.

i realized that this "issue" is or may be my ticket to "transcendence". it may happen or it may not but i have set my intention. enough is enough.

and again the thought of meditation retreat came to mind, and i thought of when i was in university, how i made an aspiration that i wished to go to burma (myanmar) to do a long retreat (3 months).

this evening i got another text from my friend, she said she is going to mandalay, burma (myanmar) next year (2013) for a retreat under the guidance of Sayalay Dipankara and she wants to (do dana) sponsor my flight ticket if i wish to go!!! all i could think of at that moment was "omg! omg! OMG!" and "unbelievable! unbelievable! unbelievable!" (i did not mention of my wish/aspiration to her before she offer the ticket).

it is a dream come true... again... for me. a dream that i made many years ago, a dream that i let go of, never thought it would materialized suddenly made manifest. i felt elated, not only because that this long lost dream suddenly made possible, and that someone would actually want to sponsor my air ticket??!! it's wild!!!

i am still beyond words of how i am feeling right now.

it's our 10th anniversary.
i am so grateful for having gene in my life. he is my grounding anchor.
i love him, i love us.

when i gain the ability to "see" past lives in recent years, i took a peek into ours.
we were married near a waterfall once, it was magical! no wonder we like to go waterfall hunting in this life!
in another life, i was deaf, he was dumb. if you live with us, you may think we still are! we are a quiet couple and sometimes he has to repeat saying things cause i can't hear very well, even though i can, it's like a brought forward habit, it's so funny.
i wanted to come to earth eons ago and he agreed to come with me even though he did not like it... just to make sure that i don't get into trouble.
i know i cannot validate what i "see", but it's uncanny that it makes so much sense.

the future? we both have same dreams - the big move and beyond that, travelling the world and other worlds. we're aiming for the stars. literally.

pass and future aside, we are just going to enjoy the now.

december turns out to be the busiest month for me. oh how i miss quiet times, journaling and blogging. but i am also having fun attending art markets. "art for grabs" was amazingly fun! i've uploaded some photos on my facebook page.

i was finally caught up by the sewing bug. i made some hanging ornaments for markets in december.
my mom was a super supporter, she (and dad) came for a visit while i was in the midst of the sewing frenzy and helped me did some sewing too. she went to my dad's car and brought these out. she collected mini sewing kits from who knows where and... store them in the car?!! you know... just in case she needs them!

few things i need to wrap up before the year ends (already?!), but that will be another blog post.

the sky was amazingly beautiful this evening. this is to the east.

north east. there were hair thin streaks of lightning and light rumbling. it was as if there was a mothership hiding behind those clouds. cloaked. i'm not skillful to take lightning shots.

to the west, clouds were stretching and reaching out to the evening sun.

the colour changed so fast.

there were dark clouds on the east side but they just passed and the sky was clear within half an hour with no rain in sight. i was totally in awe and felt uplifted.

it is still raining every day.

getting my hands on sewing. thinking i could make some cute stuff for my first "arts for grabs" event in less than 3 weeks. the sewing machine (mom in law's) broke down before i even started.

anyhoo, time for some dreaming.
so wishing to have a studio like this.
i re-watched contact (1997) just recently and still love the movie. consider this scene.

and for some update.
energy update: the big love 11.11.11 energy was a powerful one. it knocked me down with fever and flu and all. i am still feeling tired. exhausted. it's integration time, we are being re-wired with the blast. it'll take a while for the dust to settle. it has open doors for some wonderful changes coming to the planet. heart centered changes. i am feeling it. my heart chakra is working overtime. and i am feeling so vulnerable and sensitive right now.

big move update: our application has reached immigration nz shanghai branch since mid october. we're waiting to be assigned to a case officer, which could take months. so far one medical document was incomplete and we had to rush back to the hospital to get it done and couriered back to them. they are very meticulous and thorough. praying we'll get a nice friendly and kind officer. wish us luck and send some good vibes over!

this is my 2012 photo calender that i made. i picked my favourite flower photos that i took from our holiday to new zealand last march and turned them into something i can see everyday next year - great for more dreaming of our big move!

rose periwinkle in my garden this morning. after a night of rain.

the monsoon season. the thunder drumming and the lightning dances across the sky. the rain laughing as it cleanses everything it touches. i love this time of the year. i love the rain. the lightning. the thunder. every time after a downpour, it's cool, it's fresh, it's clean again.

saturday's crafty art market was great. we had a good time. the thing about my art and craft and the markets that i attend, well, i don't really make much profit in the markets. sometimes not at all. every time after every market i'd tell myself (and my sister who has been my constant helper) that that'll be my last market, over and over again but somehow i keep going to the next and the next and the next. something about being with creative inspiring artist and crafters, this little community is so generous with their love, encouragement and support and also fun to be with. and then when i see people, strangers, actually buying stuff i made, it makes my heart happy. so right now, i'll just go with the flow. i don't know where this is taking me nor do i have big plans for it. all i know is i like making art and i like making myself and others happy. that's good enough for me to keep on doing it.

energy update: november is going to be a big month. i mean BIG. as energy from source is pouring down on earth and all her inhabitants, hearts are opening wide open. love is sweeping through the earth. a grand of a time. all over the world more people are waking up and embracing love as the new way of being and living. it's a wonderful time to be alive, here. now. heart nudges, pressure, palpitation, pulsing, tingling are some of the feelings one may experience at the heart center. the light and love is growing and shining through. 11.11.11 especially is going to be like a love bomb explosion. whether one can feel it or not it does not matter, every being and every thing will be bathed with the energy anyway.

i will be taking some time off to meditate preceding 11.11.11 and a few days after. and i would highly recommend that you take some time off too, on 11.11.11 to sit in silent and feel your heart.

the universe speaks

through light, sound and colours. and feelings.
we were greeted with a beautiful rainbow this morning. absolutely a joy to just stand and stare.

gene's grandmother passed away last weekend. she was 92.

i have been both in my lowest point and higher (if not highest) point this month. i am thankful for friends who shower me with their love. i am also thankful for those who showed me ways on how i can be better.

i am not a perfect person, but i strive to be a good human being.

energy update: the energy is building up again. please be very mindful of your thoughts, action and speech. again, the best quick "break" is to stop and just breathe. we are in for a roller coaster ride from here onwards. there will be lots of surprises both personally and on a global scale. keep the love alive and share it with everyone and every being you meet. it will be a joyous celebration once we get through the ride. a momentous event. i am so excited. "we are the ones that we've been waiting for" rings ever louder. and also keep your heart and mind open for the new ways of living soon.

much has been happening in the pass week. challenges and bumps. for every challenge that i encounter, i learn to see it in a different perspective, as a blessing. i learn to respond in the light of love instead of anger. no matter how unpleasant it becomes, i try to keep my balance and stay in my heart center. every challenge is an opportunity to grow spiritually, to learn more about compassion and loving kindness and to actively practice it. it is how kind and compassionate one becomes in treating one another, that is the only way to live in peace and harmony.

all shall come to pass. that mantra keeps repeating itself. i am ok. everything is ok.

the big move update: gene has finally got his medical report yesterday and it's clean. he is healthy. good news on our nzqa (new zealand qualification authority) too, which met the requirement after it was assessed. next, we'll be filling up more forms and mailing out the medical reports to immagine new zealand. more assessment by the nz government. more waiting time. mean while, i'll keep on dreaming.... isn't the photo above just gives you a sense of calm and peacefulness?

energy update: it has been wild. some common experiences is the flu/fever symptoms, head ache, back ache and tension around the neck and shoulder ect. the intensity is getting stronger which can cause mood swings. every emotion that one experience will be magnified, so please, do not be too hasty to react. step back a little, take deep breaths and calm down before responding. time is speeding up. things are changing. big changes coming real soon. expect the unexpected.

metta mandalas

i've been keeping very quiet. needing more rest than usual. the energy is getting more intense and being a highly sensitive person, i am feeling it. one of the things i do to keep calm - doodling. above are some on post it notes. i call them metta mandalas. i am also doing some art journaling and meditation, which really help me stay centered.

i am finishing up some orders for some custom photo magnets from marion, loving every moment and the almost done magnets, i love portraits and family photos on magnets. here is one i did earlier for myself, this is my favorite photo of our new zealand holiday. gene and i in the redwood forest. it's on our fridge now, makes me smile every time i see this. photo magnet - gene & i, redwood forest, rotorua, new zealand.

the big move update: nothing much to report just yet. after our first medical check up, gene had to go for an extra ct scan and other tests. so we're waiting for the reports. it has been almost 5 weeks now. fingers crossed that all is ok.

energy update: the energy is rocking again. the earth is shaking. what a ride this is. much change is taking place in this now. we are all in a transition for something amazingly new experience. it is going to be awesome. do deep breathing. keep yourself hydrated and uplifted as much as possible. be happy.

10 things i love about malaysia

here are 10 things i love about malaysia:
1. the FOOD (roti canai, tosai, curry mee, banana leaf rice that has to be eaten with fingers, laksa, lemang, prawn mee, cendol, abc...)
2. the people, generally the people are super nice, friendly and helpful.
3. the culture and the colours are spectacular.
4. nature, the best beaches and cool highlands, not forgetting the lush green forest and amazing waterfalls.
5. manglish! the "lah", "mah", "meh", "lor", "alamak", "ta pau", "ayoo", "eh" etc. i really love manglish!
6. the food (nasi kerabu, nasi briyani, tau fu fah, lei char, lok lok, devils curry, roti jalar, rojak...)
7. the holidays! many public holidays for celebrations, yes, malaysians take their celebrations seriously.
8. the progress, it may not be as far fetched as some other countries but i'd say it is at a good and comfortable place.
9. the kampung (villages), houses on stilts where chickens, ducks, goats and cows roam free.
10. did i mention the food? (char koay teow, c'hing t'ng, pan mee, teh tarik, the list is endless) oh! and the 24 hour eateries in very corner in the city and suburbs.

hello! i'm back

hello september and hello my friends.

i'm still in a blog break mood, somehow not writing and not thinking of what to write is freeing. i'm able to spend more time going inward, to touch and know what really matters to/in my heart, to be present in the moment, to meditate.

i've been doing a little bit of painting. this one is a surprise gift to someone really special. i am looking forward to meet this special person for the first time very soon. can't wait!

as part of the big move, we're starting to bring kiki for vet visits for the necessary medical care that she needs for pet migration. this is only the first visit. we got her a microchip planted right behind her neck, just above the shoulder. it is required as part of the process. she was nervous but brave.

i am taking a rest from work for a bit. i have been working non stop for the past few days creating and preparing for urbanscapes. the heart magnets are the latest addition, i am so loving these cuties, they look like candies ready to eat! i have other magnets of various shapes coming next, can't wait to show you once they are done. they are still in the making. i hope they'll be ready in time for urbanscapes this saturday. the excitement is building, along with a little nervousness. so much more to do. i hope you'll come find me and say hi.

last weekend i had a "miracle club" session with my friend anna. we came up with that name as both of us are believers of magic and miracles. we chatted online as she's in toronto, canada. despite the distance, we always have a blast whenever we do energyworks. the session that day was amazing! one that i have never experience before, the energy that was present was truly highly charged that sent waves of love and light. every time i do a session, i'm always in awe and wonder of the magic and energy, it gets better and stronger each new session. i do feel the energyworks that i am doing is getting stronger by the day.

yesterday while i was meditating and doing energyworks, sending love energy out, i heard from my guides saying, "they are here" and immediately i sensed presence. very high energy beings. it felt like i was in a high energy vortex. consciousness space was different and i could see them in my mind's eyes. there were three of them yet they were also one. it is hard to explain their presence in words. it has been long since i was visited by high energy beings. they last appeared quite some time ago but said nothing. this time they had a lot to share.

i shall not share with you as i feel it is not yet time. the interesting experience was that the information was infused into my being, it is not like how one would share in human ways. it was more like an infusion, it's like i was absorbing and getting and knowing in all of my energy being. again, it is hard to explain in words. i also get that "yes" feeling, the trust and comfort and assurance that everything is going to be ok.

well, everything IS going to be ok, for you, for me and every one and every being.

now i better get back to work.

i feel so empty, as if you could hear a pin drop inside of me. is it the energy changes that is making me so? i am not sure, but sure feels like a big re-boot going on.

other observation, human's mental and emotional faculties are the most amazing and sometimes can be the most challenging thing ever. sometimes i like to watch these faculties at work, like a third person watching them float by. the endless incessant thoughts, the mood swings. fascinating how these can affect a person. did you know a person can have about 60,000 thoughts in a day? just think (pun intended), how many percentage of those thoughts are we using to bring us more joy and love? our lives are driven by our thoughts and emotions, they are tools. use them wisely.

anyhoo... i am still in the midst of preparing for both urbanscapes and the big move. here are some goodies you will find in mettaville in the upcoming urbanscapes.

the big move update: i have to say, i am a lucky girl. gene is super organize and efficient with the documentations. though at one point we lost our way trying to find the ministry of foreign affairs in putrajaya to get our clearance certificates, it was compensated with the speedy process of getting them. going to old colleges and working places to get more documents, making phone calls and driving around town doing the necessary things. it was busy few days. the first batch of documents were couriered to immagine nz, auckland. and now we wait. some more.

has it been a week since i last posted? i seem to be lost in time nowadays, cannot remember what day it is sometimes.

good news:

i am over the moon happy and honoured to be godmother of my dear friend kylie's newborn baby, adam. first time ever being asked to be a godmother and i'm clueless what's a godmother. but i'm happy to play fairy godmother and sprinkle some magic dust anytime.

mettaville will be participating in urbanscapes on 16 july 2011. i am so excited. apparently, it is the mother of all art market show. a festival! it includes all kinds of artists, bands, singers, film makers, photographers etc. and they are expecting about 12,000 people! 12,000??!!! i'm not sure if i have enough goodies to sell, but i'll do my best. it's only 19. days. away!!

the big move update: nothing yet. what's happening is the nz immigration is doing their preliminary checks on all the information that was submitted to determined the claims in the eoi (expressions of interest) are credible. after all that is done, only then they will issue an ita (invitation to apply) for residence. so, more waiting.

in the mean time, i'm busy creating goodies.

i took the train to KL today. went to the annexe gallery at central market to meet some friends and soak me some inspiration from artists participating in "arts for grabs". while i didn't take many shots at the gallery, the train journey was no less interesting.

i like this piece very much, my favourite. it is simple and gentle. the story...

in the history of earth and humanity of time passed, once in a blue moon a flower (enlightened being) would bloom and great teachings was passed on to humankind. which was referred to as the flower of mankind. it is said that in this amazing time of now, of change, shifts and transition, there will be many great enlightened beings (flowers blooming abundantly) walking among us as consciousness takes a giant leap. how true it is? i do not know, we shall see...

my very first piece. which has transitioned into many different scenes and lanscape before finally settled into this one. i've added music notes to the earth as i very much so believe that if you would be very still, standing or sitting on earth, you could actually hear/feel her hum under your feet. she is very much alive. just like you and i. and the moon, oh, i get so mesmerised just looking at the moon. it is textured paper, you can actually see and feel the 3d effect of the moon on the real painting.

this painting will remain as one very dear to me. it is a vision that i received of a past life, of myself and my friend ming. it was set in india, we were 2 little indian boys, ming is the taller one, and yes, i am the little shirtless boy. we were friends, at the beach together enjoying "the moment" of a beautiful sunset, it was quiet, it was calm and it was peaceful. no words were exchange, just "being" there together.

one of my favourite. this is a joyful painting, made with pieces of ang pow (red packets, known to be given out during auspicious occasions and celebration). i've chosen the word 囍 (xi, double happiness) as it is widely used during weddings, see the tiny blue love birds? there are 9 characters of double happiness 囍. in mandarin 9 is pronounced as "jiu", which sounds like another word in mandarin (久) that has the meaning of "long lasting". put them together and you have "long lasting happiness". if you look closely i have included some happy words too, 哈哈 literally translate as "haha", laughter, which is very important in any celebration in life. 乐 (le) also means happy. 兴 (xing) means to flourish, 春 (chun) is spring, signifies a new beginning for the couple as husband and wife. and the tree? well, trees have always been close to man when having any celebration in their lives since before we can remember. it is our connection to earth, when we celebrate, nature/earth/life celebrates with us.

i guess the painting marathon and exhibition have finally taken its toll. almost a week have passed, i am finally rested and recuperated. it was a great fun experience.

i've learnt more than just art and exhibition, i've also dug deep inside and excavated some old wounds that needed to be released. old conditioned thoughts that was time to let go. and how aptly themed - love's pilgrimage.

sometimes, situations show up that one can view as 1) inconvenient "problem", 2) a window of opportunity to transcend limitations and experience the path to awakenings.

when uncomfortable situations arise, they can be great wake up calls for one to shine, not through resistance but through clarity, little shifts in thoughts and choosing ways that flow with love, kindness and compassion. when i was faced with my own "perceived inconvenience", i felt the energy of "resistance" and it did not feel good. i became aware that it was events that have happened to me in the past that had me reacted that way (preconditioned), it was a cycle, i was aware of it, acknowledged it, grateful for it's presence and wish to end it. and so i did an experiment.

instead of putting my "resistance" wall up, i chose to shift my thoughts to more pleasant ones, my feelings changed. i brought my resistance wall down, was totally vulnerable and went along with an open heart of kindness and love. i tried to stay in the present moment and not even wanting to think of the "what if". i chose love and kindness, to myself (no more resisting) and to others (no matter what their intentions were).

as it turn out, well, i shattered my own "belief pattern" and the "perceived inconvenience", everything went well and in fact everything turn out better after that, much to my delight. this little experiment that i did, i can never know what really happen. because when one shifts ones perception and energy, the whole matrix (energy field) changed. another topic for another day.

i am so grateful for this opening to learning and experimenting, it is an interesting experience. i am after all a work in progress. i am human and i am learning to embrace my humanness and at the same time learning to transcend limitations that we humans have set for ourselves .

nz migration update: we have submitted our eoi (expressions of interest) to the nz immigration and now waiting for their reply. if we are not pick during the recent pool (where all eois from all over the world is), we will have to wait for the next one (selection is twice a month). recent news stated that the nz government has lowered the passmarks for skilled migrant category, which we filed under. which means they are in shortage of skilled workers(?) and encouraging more people to migrate to new zealand. what luck! :)

i've finished the paintings. some write-ups to be done and they're all set to be delivered to the gallery tomorrow. it has been a long week. i am looking forward to a good rest soon.

strange how things unfold. i wrote "paint" as one of my dream list and never really thought about it after that. i have not painted for a long time (rocks don't count). i have not even seen my own paintings on canvas but here i am having an art exhibition? how did that happen?

when the painting date with eva turned into an invitation to join her for the exhibition, my heart leaped sky high and screamed a big yes! without having any thought whatsoever how i was going to produce art pieces in such a short period of time after the confirmation. but i did. i enjoyed wholeheartedly every minute every second when i was with my brush and canvas. and how did i get the inspirations to paint? i notice there were a few ways how these "inspirations" came. (some call it creative process).

first, i set an intention. then i talked out loud and in my heart to the "art angels"(what i call them, which is most times the wall, the pillow, the coffee table ect. you get the idea), i journalled. all the time asking for inspirations and help with this event. hello? i had only 10 days!! i could really use some help. then the magic...

- i saw glimpse of images running through my mind, and i drew them on paper, then canvas.

- i chose a tittle, then i waited. then i saw images passing by.

- sometimes i paint first, titles came later.

- some just flow straight from paint to canvas without even doing a sketch.

- one in particular is an image from past life that was so vivid and clear.

- sometimes while working on one piece, an image would appear for my next piece.

- other times nothing came until i finished with one and stared on the next blank canvas.

- there's a piece which was first suggested by my sister which later evolved into quite a delightful art.

but all of the time there were little voices guiding me. i notice too that i have that certain "feeling" when a painting is finally done. it's really interesting to be aware of such strong senses and guidance. it is sharpening my intuitiveness so to speak.

on energy update: the energy is so intense right now. time is speeding up and things can change in an instance. things can appear quite chaotic at times. emotional flare ups, what was once buried is now brought forth. please be very mindful of your intention, what you give attention to, and also your action. remember, what you focus on expands. choose gratitude and love instead of fear and worry.

for those who have done mettaworks with me, i pray you are doing well. bare in mind that whatever burden/baggage/lower energy that you have accumulated (past lives included) may take some work to let go of, including pre-conditioned and limiting thoughts and beliefs. but let go you must. it is the only way. remember, you are, in your purest form - a beautiful being of love. claim that! and if you feel so called to do more energyworks with me, do not hesitate to email me. or you can book sessions with me over at small talk with the moon. i will be doing mettaworks there as well during the 3 weeks exhibition. details in my event page.

as busy as i can be, there's nothing better than taking a break from painting and have good lunch and good conversation with a good friend.

on unrelated update. there has been change of plans on our nz migration. oh, we are still going, just that we are engaging immagine new zealand immigration specialist after all to help us with the migration process. we are happy to let the professionals handle what they do best.

i have been contemplating lately on how lucky i am to be living such amazingly wonderful life. this is the best life ever!!! i am so so grateful to all the wonderful experiences and people that have been flowing into my life. i am truly blessed. thank you life.

a dream that pops!

i am so excited! the news that i've been keeping (if you've been following me on facebook) cannot be kept any longer. i am doing a collaboration with eva for an art exhibition this coming 20th may! oh my goodness! i am so excited and happy my heart is about to explode!!

the interesting part is i have less than 10 days to produce some art pieces. 10 days!!! omg! everything happened so fast. today we had a meeting at the gallery to plan out the event. the exhibition will be held at small talk with the moon. i'm in love with the name and even much more with the gallery itself. it's a quaint little bungalow in petaling jaya that oozes with charm.

i am always ever grateful to be given the chance to experience new things and having so much fun in the process. so grateful!

on another note, our nz migration update. we've decided to apply without going through an agent. our first little step, gene submitted his academic qualification to new zealand qualification authority for verification before we can proceed with the EOI (expression of interest) application through immigration new zealand. so now we wait.

crafty art market at jaya one

what a wonderful day at the art market! it was hot, it was humid, we were all sweaty and sticky but we enjoyed every minute of it.

that's our booth. grown much from our last market. some additions to our existing products, postcard photos, magnets and some new larger sized necklaces. my sister helped me mend the stall. she was selling muffins that she baked and they were good yum!

our new range of necklaces, vintage style cabochon necklaces and rectangle shaped necklaces.

what i love about being in art market is that i get to meet so many wonderful people. after months of cooping up alone at home making products, interaction with other creative souls was a great breath of change. it fills my heart with joy mingling around with other creative individuals who are kind, funny, supportive and inspiring. jacqueline of so cute it hurts came by and oh have i mentioned what a sweet person she is? so thrilled to be meeting jacqueline in person again.

i slipped from our booth to visit other etsy vendors and here's panpan of pupurin and manmanku. i know. the shop names are totally cutesies! we connect well as both of us are cat lovers and her signboards and cards are filled with cat cut outs - LOVE! i bought a sewing kit set which is so adorable! i can't wait to play with cloth and needles.

painting date with eva was so much fun. eva taught me a few techniques and fun ways of painting mix media art. i. am. hooked. the tittle came as i was blabbering away and somehow blurted "kissing the moon", i loved it and so it is. this piece is far from finish, i will have to go to the art supply shop to get some supplies before i can complete it. i'll post the finish version if it turns out good. i have not painted for a long time (not including rocks!), so i am hoping it'll turn out ok.

dinner with zai was a blast. the hours went by so quickly. i shall not go further with our little girls chat, some things are meant to be kept between us girls, you know what i mean?

kiki on the rocking chair. her companionship and playtime helps keep me grounded, especially during times of big energy shifts. thank you dear angel, love you.

nz holiday photo story 10 - final

last day in hamilton. with a few hours to spare before returning to auckland, we went to the memorial park, the park was created in memory of the first and second world war soldiers, including a spitfire air-force memorial.

next to the park is the waikato river which is popular for peddlers.

we spend a short photo snapping time at lake rotoroa before our long drive up to auckland.

on our last day in new zealand, cousin took us to have a view of the tasman sea, the sea that separates australia and new zealand. it was drizzling along the way to muriwai. autumn was finally settling in.

at takapu refuge, there were gannets, hundreds of them. they migrate between australia and new zealand. we enjoyed watching the birds and their young squawking and flying over the sea. and we too are hoping and praying that we will be successful in our migration to new zealand. and so our story continues.

i hope you have enjoyed the photos. there will be random others in coming posts, you didn't think i've posted all of them did you? i'll end this nz holiday series with a video i recorded at the memorial park. we were fortunate to be there when the band played. loved it

after leaving taupo, we drove towards hamilton, stopped by waitomo glowworm cave + ruakuri cave. it was the most amazing experience ever! we were spellbound!! we weren't allowed to take photos in the glowworm cave, so here's a video clip (taken from planet earth series) to show you what we saw, worms with glowing blue lights in their butts! bioluminescene. now we can happily say that we've been to where sir david attenborough had been. if you have not watch planet earth, go watch, it is a must watch set of videos (i've watched them many times). and if you plan to visit new zealand, do not miss this.

in the dimly lit cave, we walked a short distance and soon saw spots of blue lights above our heads, we got really excited (the best had yet to come), we walked further and our guide turned off all lights in the cave, it was pitch black, and lo and behold, thousands of blue light dotting all around us!!! it was truly magnificent! it's like looking at stars! then we got to ride on a boat and glided silently along the chilly cave full of glowworms! incredibly fascinating!!!

next is ruakuri cave, a limestone cave with amazing formations, millions of years in the making. and here too we were greeted with more glowworms, this time up close. really close. again certain part of the cave the lights were turned off and we only had the railings to hold on to with only blue dotted lights as guide. we could hear thunderous underground water beneath us, and then sound of people passing by... they were doing "black water rafting" (rafting in pitch black river caves!) still in te puia, a short walk along the geothermal valley was the pohutu geyser erupting (it can go up to 30 meters high!). the whole place was stinky with rotten egg smell = sulfur. best not to wear your best clothes here.

next we headed to lake rotorua, this little fella (black billed gull) came straight towards me, probably expecting food?

it was windy and the lake was choppy. but it was a really good place for bird watching. lake rotorua and mokoia island at the heart of the lake happens to be a bird and wildlife sanctuary.

birds are free and happy here.

sun is setting. time to head back to the motel.

along the way i saw this and quickly asked gene to stop the car. oh my goodness! it was a breathtaking sight for me, hundreds of birds flying and landing on water. my heart was bursting with joy!

next we visited te puia, new zealand māori arts & craft institute at the whakarewarewa thermal valley, rotorua. above is the pōwhiri (welcoming ceremony). we were lead to the sacred meeting house and enjoyed māori cultural performances.

that boat was built and crafted straight from a tree and sits 22 people!

detailed carving in and on the boat. i'm starting to grow a liking on māori motives.

the national carving school, one can learn the knowledge of māori art, and pass down to the next generation. check out his earring!

on our journey down to rotorua, we made many stops to take photos of beautiful blue green + rolling hills + farmland.

here's the photo story.

upon arrival cousin took us to nearby scenic places. first stop arataki visitor centre. this is the waitakare ranges with a reservoir, overlooking the bay.

an interesting sculpture watching over visitors at the arataki visitor centre.

mount eden, a dormant volcano, is the highest natural point in auckland. there are a few other smaller craters around it. it provides a great view of the city. see the two dots in the middle? one white and one blue, those are people that weren't suppose to be in there, but give a good scale of how big the crater is.

we are still in new zealand and this is a scheduled post.

we are having a wonderful time. picturesque shots in every turn. lake taupo is simply gorgeous. i don't know what else to say, just that words cannot fill the beauty of this land. my heart is expanded with love and joy and every where i go i would say "thank you" and "love you" to mama earth. it's like a chant. thankful for being blessed to experience this.

we'll be heading back to auckland saturday and flying back to kuala lumpur monday night. hoping to share with you some of the photos i took when i get back.

Passion. One way to define it is the strong underlying emotion that drives action - whether rational, or otherwise. I believe all of us have wondered, at some point, what it is that we are passionate about in our lives. Some have already found theirs, while others, myself included, are still on the twisting, meandering path on the way to discovery. I'd like to share with you some of my thoughts on this journey thus far.

I used to think that living your passion was a rather indulgent, self-centered affair. In hindsight, I couldn't be more wrong. I found that in living out my passions, whether it be as a mother to three children, singing, or making soap, I was directly affecting the people around me, and in a good way too. Sometimes people caught on to that energy I was sharing - and in turn, some of them shared that with their own circle of influence.

I hope this gives you some food for thought as to just how wonderful it can be to know where your passions lie, and to allow yourself to embrace them wholeheartedly. Have a brilliant week ahead!

gene and i are on holiday to our dream country right now (woo to the hoo!) and i've arranged some pretty awesome people to play guest host on my blog. today's guest is artist eva san. an emerging creative soul. i've known eva quite recently and was at once smitten by her beautiful art work. not only does she paint, she is also currently studying english literature and the works of great writers. wow! paint + literature, can’t get any better than that. here’s eva:

Ever since taking Kelly Rae’s e-course and taking flight fearlessly since, I am doing little by little to come out as an artist and doing a shout out that I can be happy and abundant being one! I am most grateful as layers of fear dissipate from my heart as I soar braver, and higher.

Even though I have heard so many people tell me that Malaysia as a developing country is not cultured enough to appreciate art. The idea that Malaysians care more about making money than making art is very ingrained. There are many reasons easy enough to stop me from pursuing this passion of mine-painting! But deep down I know if I don’t paint I’ll just exist as a person, and not live and thrive as a creative soul! I also know that reality can change as we change our beliefs, as we believe and want badly to create a better, richer reality.

It is not a bad thing to look up to the West for aspirations, for teachers, for knowledge, for inspiration! But I don’t want to JUST be looking up all the time! I want to be living a creative life! My colour therapy teacher Cornelius said “enough looking up to the West” and I know what he means. We, the Asians, the non-Westerners need to do the work too. I have serious gratitude for teachers from the US and the UK who created a fulfilling and rewarding life surrounded by art and the joy of conscious living because they simply dare! They too, started out from nothing, or close to nothing. I am thankful that because these brave souls from the West has dared venture into a road less taken, they have created ripples that move across the globe and touching far away places, and hearts of people who learnt from their ways and who benefited.

Malaysia is slow in terms of catching up with art, yes. But I don’t mind doing the work and become pioneer as a self-taught/mixed media/artist and blogger even if it means a lot of trials and failures. Failure is not what kills me, I feel, but being stagnant is, not attempting is, not pursuing my dream is. It robs the soul of its joys and pleasure! Malaysia’s lack lies in its mindset, but I believe the invincible human spirit makes everything possible!

I am really glad to have connected with Alison through Kelly Rae’s e-course. Strange and funny how a teacher in America brought two Malaysians together. I am really looking forward to connect with more people and build a creative community here back home!

The blogging community of creative souls is a very nourishing space and being here has helped me grow so much in the journey. Perhaps in the near future I’ll be visiting blogger-artists in the US, ringing their doorbells and saying hello after stepping down from long flights. First, I need to paint and sell more for the airplane tickets!I’m crossing my fingers!

handmade market at esg

i had a wonderful day at the handmade market yesterday. and must say it is an improvement for my little shop. from this embarrassing products and no decoration stall to yesterday's display + new products. it's clean and simple, just the way i like it. i'd like to secretly think that it's mettaville's little "boutique" stall. i had taken the smaller table as i wasn't sure if i was going to have enough products to showcase and as it turned out, the d.i.y shelves fit perfectly on the table, i loved my little stall. here are some photos.

i'm taking a day off, doing absolutely nothing. no painting, no camera, no poking my hands and head at the studio table, no house chores (except ferrying my loves to and from work and college). even though i still have a lot to do. i realised what i really need is a good rest.

so here i am in bed, with kiki sleeping at my feet, surfing the net for some eye candy and a few good read. a couple of favourites:

- inspiring blog post by leoni over at superhero journal.

- visiting other people's homes.

- adding more favourites to my etsy profile, so. many. beautiful. things.

- listening to some nice tunes, joni mitchel, james taylor (love love love!), genesis etc. etc.

- reading up on things to do in auckland, new zeland. interesting 50 must dos?!

a really good rest day.

i'm still in the midst of selecting photos, editing, printing, cutting, putting pieces together, painting more rocks, varnishing, sun drying, and oh, making a d.i.y display thing/tray/shelf. not sure what to call it. but it is all coming together nicely. i think i am better prepared this time than my first open market. a more focused products, more confident, and having ample time preparing for it helps. i am looking forward to the handmade market by etsy malaysia at empire shopping gallery subang. it's this coming saturday! how time flies!

rings, yes! we have rings! they are new. with many beautiful photos. above is a bee on tulip, a photo taken by gene during our trip to amsterdam in 2008.

i love flowers, nature. the stillness in nature speaks right into your inner essence and takes you right into that place you know so well. presence. and these photo necklaces and rings remind you of that place. it is also from this place that inspiration flows.

oh, but oh, with all the busyness, i have not forgotten our trip to new zealand too that's happening days away after the market. we almost went to jpj (our local road transport department) to get an international driver's license (for gene only) so he could drive in nz. we found out later that we don't need to as our license is valid to drive there. means both of us can drive. saved us RM150! we plan to rent a car and travel a bit.

my heart goes out to christchurch in the recent earthquake. i have a cousin living there with his wife and newborn son. praying and sending love their way. big shifts that moved earth and people into compassion and love. i pray things will only get better. when people open their hearts to love and work together to rebuilt what's lost, they gain so much more.

fraser's hill

last weekend my parents came over, and we decided to go for a day trip to fraser's hill, which is about 3 and 1/2 hours drive from home. it was a fun day trip. i had wanted to go back to fraser's hill for a long time now, i used stay in fraser's hill a couple of days every other month when i was working with wwf malaysia many years ago.

we stopped for photos at sungai selangor dam, between kuala kubu baru and fraser's hill. this photo was taken through the fence.

the town centre's clock tower. fraser's hill is known for it's famous bird watching activity and there's an annual international bird race for bird enthusiast. i don't know much about bird names and i have forgotten quite a bit those that i learned. one thing i do know, the birds here are truly beautiful if you managed to see them.

jeriau waterfall. yes, we are waterfall fans. at least gene and i are. what better way to end our short trip than to enjoy the sound of nature.

on another note, i am trying hard to catch up on work. things to make for upcoming handmade market on the 5th march 2011, empire subang gallery. it's in my event page. i hadn't done much while mom and dad were here, we had so much fun. but i trust that all will be well, it's all good. i just do the best i can and everything else will fall into place just nicely. if you're free and around subang jaya, do drop by.

cookies and new necklaces

in our home (well in my parents anyway), these are the must have cookies during lunar new year.

"kuih bangkit" - direct english translation "rising cookie". sounds funny but it is so i kid you not. mom says when you eat these cookies, the coming year you will rise to the occasion. all your work and business will "rise" to goodness and greatness. sounds good to me. apart from the great meaning, i just like it when the cookie melts in my mouth. yum!

"kuih gulung" - "love letters" (no, not direct translation). i'm not sure the meaning behind this cookie, but i sure love munching this crispy sweet yumyum.

and here are some latest necklaces i made. all photos in pendants are from my archive and i am so happy to be able to make them into wearable art. if you go to my etsy shop, i share a little short story of the photo.

thank you for your well wishes. i am doing well, still wonky weird tired physically, but mentally and emotionally happy as a kitty with toy mouse. well, at least that's what kiki's favourite pass time is now. i've been busy making photo necklaces and it is really fun.

the energy will get more wonky and strong in coming times, and i'm keeping this mantra in mind "whatever happens, i can handle it."

energy update + custom photo necklaces

the energy has been really off balance lately, erratic even. zig zagging and don't know where to settle. this has caused a lot of confusion on earth plane and it's inhabitants.

i, for one have been experiencing flu like symptoms that cannot decide what to become. the body is somewhat confused on how to react. one moment i would feel feverishly unwell, the next moment i am good again. then the illness would come back with a big whoosh that i had to lie down and rest. what happens is that the body is trying to adjust to this new energy that is here and is having some interesting time doing so. we are electromagnetic beings, the energy that is coming in is a higher frequency of electromagnetic pulse. it is strong and potent. we will all be affected at varying degrees. since i am rather sensitive, i feel it much more.

some people may experience what i would call mental and emotional wonkiness, they just don't know what or how to feel at times. brain fog. and this wonkiness is causing an alarming state for some. emotional outburst if not mindful. even the weather seems peculiar. here in kl, it would be really hot and then all of a sudden rain and then gets really cool, i mean really cool that is not the ordinary kl weather as we know it. it's like the weather too do not know what to decide. spring is late. the usual spring wind that comes prior lunar new year has not arrived. oh! electrical items and gadgets like computers, tvs, even cell phones and such will experience some challenges as well. as much as i'd like this flu like illness to go away soonest, it is also a good time for me to rest and let this energy realign itself.

anyhoo, energies aside, lets get to the fun part. i've made some really cool photo necklaces. these are custom made orders.

that's marie-anne with clay aiken. yes, the clay aiken from american idol 2. marie-anne is a clay fan and managed snap a photo with him, isn't that cool!?

and this is zai and her mom. zai was telling me that her mom misses her when she's away. so what better way than to make a necklace as a gift to her mom so that a picture of mom and daughter is worn close to heart. her mom can take a peek at their photo whenever she misses the daughter.

i think this is my favorite photo from our melaka photowalk trip last december. pure innocence and curiosity. how nice if we can look at everything around us with innocent eyes. without judgment nor fear but with openness and playfulness.

finally, i successfully made a hand painted necklace. i am pleased with the outcome.

i've been away for a couple of days, back to mom and dad's in melaka. it was a good short break. away from the internet and just enjoy being with my parents.

i have some necklace orders to do and delivered before lunar new year but you know when the more you want to get things done in a hurry, the slower it gets and i did a mistake. oh well, i honour that boo boo and shall learn to be more mindful. can't do much today so i painted some rocks instead.

the owl love collection. they all have tiny red hearts above the head, can't see in the photo though. i thought since my blog and shop name is mettaville, metta being "loving kindness", so i might as well promote loving kindness in the products as well. we all need some love and kindness in this world.

now that we've established the basics. setting up mettaville's etsy shop and mettaworks intuitive reading service. we can go back to more photos. while i work on expanding, learning, tweaking on the two projects which i will be focusing on this year. other than still dreaming the nz migration.

as you can see it's after 3:00am and i'm still wide awake! the strong energy inflow is making my sleeping pattern a little off. my heart is racing, my head feels light yet a thousand thoughts run through it, which include many great enlightening wisdom and ideas and chatters. i wonder who they belong to? it has been like this since the new year and i know the energy is just going to get stronger.

braco's healing gaze and etsy shop re-open

very cute and quaint art studio in jonker street, melaka.

i am still working on the best way to do my intuitive reading and energyworks on my blog. honestly? i'm not so sure how to go about doing it. but i have to share with you an amazing "healer" that i got to know recently. you have got to "meet" him! his name is braco (pronounced braht-zoh). you can read about him here and here. (why are all the good events i wish to attend are happening in the US?).

i got to know braco in december 2010 through the internet and was amazed at his healing ability. he heals by gazing at a large group of people. just like that. people are healed and lifted off their heavy burden and lower forms of energy. there are so many testimonials and positive feedback that i was so drawn to experience his amazing gift. even watching some of his video on youtube i could feel the energy.

last thursday the organizer from braco america did a global livestream gazing event at agape international spiritual centre where reverend michael beckwith (from the secret) was the host. it was phenomenal! apart from the people at the center, there were almost 3000 live streamers from around the world! once braco came on stage and started his gazing session i immediately felt a wave of energy washed over me and it was STRONG and POWERFUL! my goodness! i had shivers, was burping the whole time, my knees went jelly weak, i felt dizzy, enveloped by a blanket of heat and was high on cloud eleven! it was an amazing feeling. during the gazing session, i did a little "experiment" as shared on his website. i held pictures of loved ones and also my very good friend kylie. i know it all sound so weird, holding pictures in front of the monitor letting braco "gazed" at me! whatever works, i'll do anything to raise my vibes and help others. i felt and still am feeling great after that session. two days later, kylie emailed me saying that her cough, running nose and asthma is gone. i'm like wow! really? was that braco's healing? will have to contact her again in a few days to reconfirm.

the good news is that he'll be doing more livestream gazing events in the very near future and you can join and "meet" him. feel his healing gaze live from the comfort of your home. check out his website for more info. i am thrilled and happy to share with you this info. do take note that this is not a religious event, so anyone can attend and benefit from his healing gaze.

swarovski crystal pearls - wire wrapped necklace & earrings set.

i love doing wire wrapping on pearls. they look simple yet elegant and chick. this is one of my favorite. i sold a few of these earrings in the last crafty art market in jaya one. they seem to be well received. i will be adding more items in the shop soon. i still need to work on creating more items for the art market that's happening 5th march. i've ordered some supplies and hope they'll arrive soon. i've lots of ideas swirling in my head. need to write. them. down. if only i can catch them fast enough before they float away. my mind seems to be more active than usual. i take that as a good sign.

houses on stilts

i love kampung houses. they're so quaint and cozy. my grandmother used to live in a kampung house much like these, but much smaller. i absolutely loved it. what sets apart the kampung houses in melaka from other states is that the steps are usually made of colourful tiles or brick and cement, like the second picture.

we saw these girls and asked them to sit on the steps so we could take pictures. notice the matching colours of their shirts and the tiles on the steps? what a coincidence! the tiles are gorgeous. love the colours.

and the girls are a natural. sweet.

let's rewind a little to last year. here are the rocks that were ordered by a ming as gifts to her friends. 4 christmas theme and 2 japanese theme. i really had fun painting them.

i've just signed up for another open art market! woohoo! it'll be on 5 march 2011 at empire gallery subang jaya, which is very close to home. yay! once again i'll be joining team etsy malaysia on this one. yes, there'll be painted rocks. i've already done some sketches on some rocks. i love love my art table in the living room, i have more space as my art supplies tend to spill over to the dining table next to it. it's cooler and brighter and closer to the kitchen too! (easy reach to snacks!?) i think that sometimes we need a change in our art space to get motivated. oh! i'm also bringing in some new goodies, but shhh.... for now. i'll save that for later.

i'll be a bit busy but will definitely post a few photos from my photowalk trip to melaka with ming.

i just wanted to acknowledge you my friends, who played the one little word 2011 with me. if you did not go back and read the comments, i just want to re-post it here. this is what i wrote:

wow! i am blown away by all your wonderful one little word!

janet: "change" indeed. this year is a year for "change", for sure. i love what you wrote, every. single. one.

bee: yup, dedicating the song "cherish" by kool and the gang to you :)

jacqueline: you are a warrior this year jaqueline. warrior of "love"! let your light shine brightly to cast that fear away. "fearless" 2011 it is!

shannon: ooohhh... i love the word "authentic" very much too. this is the year to be authentic, i am seeing in a lot of people. i feel that when you find and remember your own magnificence, you'll blow yourself away :D because you truly are, and i and all those around you love you for that. bring it on shannon! :)

eva: hey you. happy to see you're back! yes, there's a lot of "passion" to share with everyone :) yes to all you said too, passionate artful living. i like that.

thanks everyone for sharing, i am so inspired by all of you :) know that as i read each and every one of your word, i am adding energy to it, a kind of boost to it if you will. a prayer. may your word manifest your heart's desire this 2011.

on another note, the influx of energy has been really strong. i am feeling it, i'm not sure if you are. it's like having a 100 watt electricity running through a 10 watt bulb! sometimes my awareness is so high that i am even aware that i am sleeping while sleeping! i am feeling that 2011 is a powerful year. now, i am not predicting anything, i am merely sharing what i feel. no one escapes this wave of energy that is currently sweeping the earth. it just manifests differently for everyone. it all depends on what you wish to create this year. i have been sick on the very first day of the new year, which resulted in unable to take in much heavy food. so it was liquid and fruits only. i have since adjusted back to normal food intake, small portions at a time.

there is also a kind of new-ness to the energy, fresh and light and clarity. and there's a forward thrust in the doing (about time too!). i have been cleaning the house (again!), the fridge, the cupboards, re-arranging things, de-cluttering (again!), and moving my art table from our studio to the living room downstairs, changing feng shui, or so i give myself the reason. and well, it's also a great time to completely let go of the pass, what does not work for you anymore. forgive. time to move on to something new.

it is a time of inventing and creating a new self. love self. there's enthusiasm and vitality. the energy is very encouraging. all i'm saying is embrace this new energy, be open to receive it (even if you don't feel it. set your intention). be in sync and in the flow of the energy and claim your power, be authentic. i am feeling this very strongly and am loving it. finally we get to be who we truly are. there is a sort of boldness and confidence in it too. this afternoon i did something that i would have never done in the pass, i spontaneously paid lunch for a complete stranger. i was shocked at my own action. i was finishing lunch when i saw an elderly man walking so slowly to his seat, his plate of rice was already brought to the table by the waiter. as i was at the counter paying for my meal, i simply told the cashier that i would like to pay for the "uncle". just like that.

anyhoo. this year, i encourage you to find your unique passion, your unique self and your voice and shine. because 2011 is showtime. things will get a move on.

this is sungai palas "boh" tea plantation. that's the cafe where you can have your cup of tea overlooking the hills of tea plantation. i didn't take many photos as i sprained my ankle the night before (christmas day!) and here gene and i were just sitting and chilling while the rest of the family went on with the tour in the mini factory. besides, i took some shots here last year. so i was good to just sit and enjoy the scenery.

this is "bharat" tea plantation, another tea plantation company in cameron highlands. photos taken on our last day and my ankle was well enough to walk again.

we saw some tea leaves pickers but they were too far to photographed.

yes. P.A.S.S.I.O.N.

this year i wish to live life passionately. it's a learning process. i know. it's a fun process i wish to embark and embrace in 2011.

passion in all that i do and all that i am. to love myself passionately, letting go of judgement and doubt about myself and accept every little bits and pieces of me. to be gentle and kind with myself. to be open and allowing. to live my truth. being authentic.

passion in my work, art and craft, photography, energywork and all my daily activities as well, i want to learn to see the mundane musings in new light, the light of passion. even if not all the time, whenever i am aware, i wish to invoke this new feeling in my daily doings.

passion in my relationship with gene. we are in our 10th year as a married couple. 10th year!! and we are still as silly as cats in sarongs. we are ready to start a new chapter in life if all goes well with the big move. pray for us. this will be a wild ride.

passion in living and enjoying life in every moment. i am feeling oh so thankful for who i am, even though i do not fully know who and what i am... yet, that does not mean i cannot be passionate just "being". it's like there is a kind of juiciness joy and love and gratitude in every action and beingness when i operate in this given mode. when i embrace and enjoy life, i am living in gratefulness. so living life with PASSION is like being grateful 24/7!

the abundance of 2010 will continue and expand into my passion for living a fully awaken life in 2011.
